The Shrine of:
Odds are you haven't heard of Radioactive Dreams, but it's one of my personal favs. Released in 1986, it details the first day of two young men just out of a bomb shelter after a nuclear war. At this point, it's fairly obscure for two key reasons: it's out of print, and it isn't exactly oscar worthy. It's definetly enjoyable, and has a number of memorable scenes and characters. My more detailed review of it can be found here.
Some pictures and sounds are contained in the review. However, a huge archive of both can be found here.
Due to it's current status of: unreleased and hard to find, I've decided to put up the entire movie in Real Media format. The links to the files are here.
As of now, my personal favorite movie is John Woo's A Better Tommorow. Interestingly, quite a few notable parrelels exist between it and Radioactive Dreams. My observations and opinions on them are located here.
While most of the cast and crew of Radioactive Dreams is not particularly great, filmographies, biographies and links for them can be found here.
Opinions vary on Radioactive Dreams' soundtrack. Personally, I think it's great. Course, if you don't like 80's rock, you won't. A group of MP3s from the movie can be found here.
As of now, nothing is on this page, but a description of Phillipe Marlowe, whom the two main characters take after, is available (not yet) here.
A list of reviews and links to internet reviews can be criticized here.
Just who the hell am I? And why did I make a shrine to a barely known, apparently cheesy and critically despised 80's movie? And, of course, why the heck can't I think of a word besides "Here" for links? All that you wish to know may be seen here.
